"Kick-Ass" was a surprise smash as it had a mostly unknown cast in a genre that is already over crowded. Thor: The Dark World on November 8, 2013, Captain America: The Winter Soldier on April 4, 2014, Guardians of the Galaxy on August 1, 2014, The Avengers 2 on May 1, 2015, Ant-Man on November 6, 2015, and unannounced films for May 6 2016, Jand May 5 2017.My award for most underrated and poorly treated film of 2013 is absolutely without a doubt "Kick-Ass 2". As for Scarlet Witch, there've been no such reports outside of the one rumor that Saoirse Ronan was the actress the studio was using as a concept for the character of Wanda (Scarlet Witch). We do know Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch are a part of the film and it seems that Aaron Taylor-Johnson may already have the role of Pietro. The difference is that this time, fans know most of the characters and and it would seem a wasted opportunity two years out from release with so much mystery surrounding Ant-Man and Guardians of the Galaxy. Such an event would be essentially a repeat of 2010 where Captain America and Thor shared the stage as well and the cast of the first team-up came out together for the unveiling. With the Marvel Studios panel taking place later today, rounding out what some are already expecting to be a day that will fight for the label as biggest day of movie panels ever at San Diego Comic-Con, some rumors point towards the unveiling of the full cast for The Avengers 2 appearing on stage. In fact, my wife has just been out and bought the first ever cover, a really really old vintage one where it's the first time Quicksilver's ever been on the front cover." has a really interesting character and background. He continues, after being asked if he's been reading up on the character: "Oh, that's um, I don't think I can talk about that, but it's definitely an exciting prospect."

MTV chatted with Aaron Taylor-Johnson during Comic-Con for Kick-Ass 2 and directly asked the actor on what's going on with Quicksilver in The Avengers 2 and he didn't even attempt to deny it, coming off with a tone that he's in talks or perhaps even confirmed for the role. Could we see two Quicksilvers today during the Fox and Marvel Studios Comic-Con 2013 panels? Not long after this casting news, a report suggested that Joss Whedon and Marvel Studios were looking at Aaron Taylor-Johnson to play that same character in The Avengers 2.

X-Men Days of Future Past director Bryan Singer announced two months ago that Evan Peters ( American Horror Story) is playing the speedy mutant Quicksilver, son of Magneto, in his film that will be unveiled to fans this afternoon for the first time.
